Habotai
Silk (also known as China Silk)- this
silk has a weight of 8mm.
The word Habotai means "soft as a
feather." It is beautiful, lightweight, and
flutters in the breeze. Habotai silk is commonly
used as scarves, suit and jacket linings,
pillows, and wall hangings.
Silk
Chiffon-
this silk is also 8mm in silk weight. It has
texture, is quite transparent and very soft.
Silk chiffon drapes beautifully and floats like
a dream. This silk is often used as
scarves, ballroom gowns, formal wear, costuming,
and as overlays.
Silk
Satin-Charmeuse- (scarf and shawl size only)
this silk is heavier than the other two fabrics
with a silk weight of 12 mm. It has lovely
draping qualities and shimmers in the light.
This is what most people think of when they
imagine silk. It has it’s own elegance with a
slightly muted crepe on one side and a shiny
satin on the other side.

Cotton from India-(sarong
size only) this fabric is hand made on
rustic looms in rural India. It is cool,
comfortable, and lightweight.Slight irregularities contribute to the
beauty of this cotton. It is semi-sheer and very
soft.
